Ioana is the Head of EIC Investment Advisory Unit at the European Investment Bank (EIB) Luxembourg, where she oversees the equity investment activity of the EIC Fund - the venture arm of the European Innovation Council (EIC), backing breakthrough startups across AI, biotech, quantum, climate, medtech, space, and more. With over €2.5 billion committed by the EIC Fund, she works at the intersection of innovation and investment, supporting deep tech ventures with high potential for global impact. She is a strong believer in the power of technology to drive positive change and is passionate about helping founders scale transformative ideas across Europe and beyond.
