How does it work?

On both 16  and 17 October, we have planned physical Networking sessions where we facilitate 1:1 meetings with pre-selected counterparts; a quick and easy way to meet potential partners during meetings. Please follow the next steps to arrange your own meetings and make your matchmaking a success:

  1. Go to your profile page, and click "Allow networking"
  2. Make sure to "update" your profile with the required information
  3. Browse the list of participants by clicking again on "Networking" in the top menu, then on "Participants list"

How will the "Networking meetings" sessions unfold?
Several "Networking" sessions are planned on 16  and 17 October, and will take place physically on the event premises.
When you make a meeting request, you can propose one or more dates and times for the meeting. You can also select the length of the meeting (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes).

Please note that you can choose between 2 networking zones depending on the conferences you attend:
- Luxembourg Venture Days zone
- LPEA Insights conference zone 
We will then let you define by message the meeting point with the other participant in these open zones. 
Networking points will be provided for this purpose.
How can I ask for meetings?
Once registered to the "Networking", you will be able to contact other participants and ask them for meetings.
To do so,  you can click on the "Networking" tab of the top menu, then browse the list of other participants.
If you want to meet another participant, click on the "Contact" button, and choose "Add a meeting to the request".
In the meeting request, choose the timeslot that best suits you, and the zone for the meeting.

Once the other person has accepted the meeting, you will receive a notification email. 
Where can I access my meetings agenda?
You can access your Meeting Agenda by clicking on the "My agenda" button.
Be sure to check it regularly for updates!

What are the best practices for meetings?
Networking meetings are a fantastic way to make new business contacts. For it to be a success, please:
  • Make sure to regularly check for meetings requests in your messages
  • Answer your requests by either accepting or declining the meeting
  • Check regularly your Networking agenda
  • Be on time, and if you can't make it then please inform the other participant by sending a message
