Dr. Bernardo-Gancedo joined the NATO Innovation Fund to drive NIF’s strategy and portfolio for all things bio, particularly biosecurity, synthetic biology, biomanufacturing and human enhancement. She is also passionate about supply chain resilience and novel materials.
Prior to joining the NIF, Ana was a Senior Associate at Amadeus Capital Partners – one of Europe’s leading deep tech venture capital firms. Prior to VC, she worked as a management consultant in London. Ana holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and an MChem from Universidad Complutense of Madrid.
