Description

Yannick is a partner in Simpson Thacher’s Investment Funds Practice and is based in the recently opened Luxembourg office. He advises some of the largest global asset managers on complex fund formation matters, including the structuring and registration of regulated funds (including semi-liquid evergreen funds) and unregulated funds, covering private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure strategies. With extensive experience across a broad range of sectors, he is recognised by Chambers as a leading lawyer in Investment Funds and was named a “Next Generation Partner” for investment funds by Legal 500. He is fluent in English, French, German and Luxembourgish. Yannick is a member of a number of fund industry bodies including the Association of the Luxembourg Funds Industry (ALFI) and the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA) where he co-chairs the AIFMD working group.
