Description
John Lusk is a growth-focused operator, investor and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience scaling technology companies, and he is currently a Partner at Promus Ventures. There he invests in and supports early-stage deep tech, space, AI, data infrastructure and industrial technology companies, and he sits on five company boards as well as the nonprofit board of Jazz Forum Luxembourg. Before joining Promus Ventures, he founded and led Spire Maritime, growing it into a $48M ARR, AI-powered analytics and data platform, which he took through a $241M strategic exit to Kpler. Earlier, he built and sold Rivet & Sway, a VC-backed eyewear e-commerce company acquired by Luxottica. He also held senior leadership roles at WhitePages and Yapta and served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Kauffman Foundation. John is the author of The MouseDriver Chronicles, a bestselling entrepreneurial memoir that has been translated into six languages and used in more than 200 universities, and his views have appeared in Inc., Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and on NPR. A former semi-professional soccer player, he holds a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Wharton.
