Simone Pini is Managing Director and ESG Referent at ORAXYS.
Prior to joining the team, Simone spent more than 16 years at Cube Infrastructure Managers, an independent Private Equity fund manager focusing on European infrastructure and companies with high capital requirements. Simone sourced and executed equity transactions and supervised investments in European small and mid-sized enterprises active in the Energy Transition space (district heating, energy efficiency services, renewable energy such as solar, wind, waste-to-energy, mini-hydro, biogas) in France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK and Norway.
Simone is a former Supervisory Board member of Idex (France), CogenInfra (Italy) and Enetiqa (Czech Republic), former Chairman of the Boards of Norsk VannKraft (Norway), Green Energy Platform (Spain) and Grecom (Slovakia) and former Board member of RPI (Spain) and Varanger Kraftvind (Norway).
Simone began his career in the M&A Energy team of Mediobanca in Milan. He is a graduate with honors from Politecnico di Milano and holds a diploma from the Alta Scuola Politecnica in Italy, as well as an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs in France. He is also a CFA charterholder.
