Description

Currently Managing Director - Head of Retail at Bpifrance, the French Sovereign fund, one of the largest private equity investor in Europe. He started his career at BNP Paribas where he worked for 11 years in different fields (Asset management, Life Insurance and Business development) providing investment solutions to individuals. Then, Gorka joined Quintet Private Bank in 2014 (ex-KBL) as Group Head of Private Markets in charge of selection, structuring and distribution of Private Equity solutions. He is passionate about Private equity and how to provide access to this asset class to individuals. During his professional life in the Grand Duchy, he was also a board member of LPEA (Luxembourg Privat Equity and Venture Capital Association) and a PE trainer at the House of Training hosted by Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of DEUSTO (TOP 3 Business school in Spain) and HEC Montréal.
