Tobias Verlende the founder and managing director of CorpPearls, a tech / startup focused M&A/ consultancy boutique based in Berlin. Tobias helps to innovative startups to perfectly match them with strategic partners and /or investors and corporates to find a suitable startup technology in order to digitise their business. Tobias also assist corporates, cities or regions with creating and managing new innovation hubs projects. Presently Tobias focuses mainly on logistic tech, artificial intelligence, sustainability and quantum technology. Tobias completed my law studies at the Universities of Vienna, London and Cologne and hold a Master from London University (LLM) as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the European College of Business and Management in London. He was then Head of London Office for two German law firms, dually qualified as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and a solicitor in England and Wales. My main focus as a lawyer was to assist international investors on their acquisition of German companies/assets. Besides his legal career, Tobias was the Chairman for the UK Region and Board Member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany, Member of the Management Board of the German British Forum and Member of the Public Affairs Commission of COBCOE (Member of the Steering Group).
